Produced by Bill Laswell, the album is brimming with soulful vocals and infectious rhythms on songs like Gilberto Gil’s “Rafavela” and the Fela-style title track. But the standout is “Iwoya,” featuring a joyful duet with Dave Matthews. Impossible to resist.
