Travis - 12 Memories

Travis - 12 MemoriesThe members of Scotland’s Travis have made a career out of wearing their sensitive hearts on their sleeves, singing tender love songs and earnest stadium anthems. The band’s fourth album is more political, with “Re-offender” tackling domestic violence. Two tracks call for peace: “The Beautiful Occupation” is singer Fran Healy’s response to this year’s anti-war marches in London and Glasgow, while “Peace the Fuck Out” features a sing-along from Celtic soccer fans. Still, it’s all pretty inoffensive stuff.
