Rosanne Cash - Rules of Travel
Written by Nicholas Jennings    PDF Print E-mail

Rosanne Cash - Rules of Travel The Man in Black’s daughter is back with her first studio album in a decade—and it’s a tour de force. Featuring eight original songs, some written with producer-husband John Leventhal, Cash’s latest finds her mining powerful autobiographical terrain on songs like  the seductive “I’ll Change for You,” sung with Steve Earle, and “September When It Comes,” a moving duet with her father about mortality. And she opens with “Beautiful Pain,” a classic pop tune by Craig Northey, former frontman of Vancouver’s The Odds.
